Pulse generator
Electrophysiology
Optogenetics
Photometry
An electronic device capable of generating programmable pulse trains to control external equipment such as optogenetic stimulatiors, cameras, and clock-driven devices.
A touchscreen interface allows the experimenter to easily configure experimental parameters, including total experiment duration and stimulation patterns (pulse frequency, train duration, and inter-train intervals, all timiings could be set withe a resolution of 0.1ms).
The pulse generator output can also be conditioned by an external input signal, which may be used as a trigger or gating signal, enabling synchronization with other devices or experimental events.
